![]() ![]() ![]() 12 seconds of a Helldivers 2 trailer makes its way to Twitter. Since this game allows for both couch-coop and online-coop combined, you and your friend can play the game together on the same PC with people online joining your game (or you and your friend joining theirs), so getting a full squad together is almost never a problem (depending on your connection and region) and you could then ask people who have DLC content to show it off or let you try it out you know, like a try before you buy. Helldivers 2 is definitely real, and probably announcing soon. Once you and your friend get comfortable with the game and it's mechanics you could try switching your game from private to public and allow people to join you and your buddy online. Easier to have a tight group with just a 2-man fire and maneuver team than it is with a 4-man fireteam in my experience in this game. Some people may tell you that you absolutely need some of the DLC, and should you decide at some point to join other peoples' multiplayer games, then it's possible that you get kicked for not possesing specific DLC gear, but that shouldn't discourage you from playing the vanilla game without the extra content, and especially if you plan to play with your friend. 2 players is in fact easier than 4 in my opinion. Originally posted by Zaphkiel:Yes, its totally doable with just the two of you.( hell, it might even be better than with 4)Īnd you also dont need the DLCs to be fully effective, there are situations where DLC equipmentĬan make surviving the situation quite easy, but with some practice - and learning how to use your basic equipment and when - you can handle anything. ![]()
